Bio

Tina Gurupashna Vaughn is originally from India and is a certified Vedic Meditation, E-RYT 200 , 500 CYT,  YACep,  Yoga teacher, who graduated from Namah Shivaya Yoga Teacher Training. She grew up with the wonderful influence of Yoga and Meditation. She is overjoyed to see the amazing awareness and growth of yoga in the US and that people are benefiting from this incredible practice.

Following the path of yoga in her life, she is a board member of a non-profit organization called Ekoankar Foundation that sponsors underprivileged children in India to get a primary education (For more information go to www.ekoankar.org)

She also volunteers as a translator for a Buddhist monk who comes to the U.S. to give talks on peace and compassion. With his Blessing, she had the privilege of meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Tina is currently teaching Gentle Yoga and Meditation classes.  She also offers Meditation Workshops at local yoga studios.

Tina’s kirtan group , Namah Shivaya Kirtan (call and response chanting) is dedicated to bringing kirtan to the local community.
